Clinker Brick

I ran into this house in August 2004 in Snohomish, Washington.  Snohomish is a terrifically popular town just outside of Everett that recreated itself into the "Antique Capital of the Northwest" in 1982.  Anyway, this house is the Marks House, an 1894 Queen Anne rehabbed into a Craftsman in 1924.  It has the most amazing clinker brick I've ever seen, not to mention, a pretty fantastical style transformation:
