We at Historic Preservation Northwest have always been proponents of retaining historic windows for both aesthetic and economic reasons. Below are a variety of websites that contain a variety of reasons for keeping historic windows. Mixed in are also a few videos on the repair of historic wood windows.

Thankfully, new websites are coming out every day to help save historic windows; however, the number pales in comparison to the number of websites the building industry puts up every day arguing for window replacement. Please help to counter their campaign of misinformation.
